This spring we're going to watch and discuss impactful documentaries with a societal theme at Bibliotheek 't Sant. Starting with the documentary Human Flow on April 17. Join and gain new insights.
Since World War II over 65 million people around the world have been forced to leave their homes due to climate change, famine and war. The documentary ‘Human Flow’, directed by Ai Weiwei, gives an impressive insight in this massive human migration. The film follows the personal stories of refugees in 23 countries. Not only does the documentary show the tragedy of the crisis, it also emphasizes the resilience of the people who lose everything and fight for a better future. The question arises: how can we as a global community deal with this humanitarian challenge?
Come watch and discuss this visually and emotionally powerful documentary with us at Bibliotheek ‘t Sant on April 17.
